We are currently hiring for Part-Time help at our seafood/butcher counter.

To be considered for this job you MUST have previous experience working with seafood and meat either in a specialty food store or a high-end restaurant. We are passionate about the quality of the food we sell and will expect you to be too!

Responsibilities will include:

*Maintaining a high level of customer service, making sure our customers are always satisfied with our product and their interaction with the store

*Staying up to date on seasonal availability of seafood and issues regarding seafood
*knowing basic cooking preparations for meat and seafood

*Keeping work area clean at all times

The successful candidate will be teamwork oriented but also have the ability to think and learn on their own. Good communication skills are required for working in tight quarters with adjoining butcher, cheese, and prepared foods areas.

Job Requirements:

*Experience working in a fish department, butcher department and/or kitchen

*A passion for food!

*Must be able to work at least 1 weekend day

*Integrity and strong work ethic

Hours will vary but will include some mornings, earliest would be 9am, evenings, the store closes at 9pm, and at least one weekend day. We offer paid-time-off, health insurance after 3 months and generous discounts at our store and our sister wine stores.
